Legal Assistant

Frederick Law Offices, PLLC Frederick Law Offices, PLLC Orchard Park, NY Orchard Park, NY Full-time Full-time $18 an hour $18 an hour High energy, client-service-oriented law firm seeking a hard-working and motivated individual to assist the Frederick Law Offices team in our Orchard Park office.
Hours are Monday - Friday from 9-5.
Full-time benefits and paid holidays.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys.
Collaborate with administrative staff to enhance overall office effectiveness.
Answer incoming calls and be able to communicate on behalf of Frederick Law Offices Organize and schedule appointments.
Distribute incoming written correspondence (mail, fax, etc.
) Welcome and assist visitors to the firm.
Draft and file basic client correspondence.
Establish new client digital files and close finished case files.
Requirements:
Computer literacy, including but not limited to MacOS, Microsoft Office, Adobe and Google Drive.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a time sensitive, high volume work environment.
Customer service experience.
Strong communication skills.
High School degree required; associates or bachelor degree preferred.
Because we work with a medically vulnerable population, vaccination against COVID-19 is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
