Preferred schedule would be on site Monday through Thursday, 5 hours per day at our Orchard Park location.
This is somewhat flexible.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of solid HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
On the job training with current retiring HR Manager will assist with the transition.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Daily interaction with employees fielding questions, handling and resolving employee issues and conflicts, providing effective communication Maintain HR systems and processes, including but not limited to, payroll, benefits, leaves and assistance with safety initiatives Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding and retention Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state and federal regulations Partner with management to implement strategic HR goals in alignment with business initiatives Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field 2-4 years experience as an HR Manager or similar role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and payroll processing systems Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
