Summary:
Contributes to the company's mission and values by greeting patients, visitors and staff with a friendly, helpful demeanor both in person and over the phone; assists in coordinating location of patients and keeping visitors informed; operates independently as well as cooperatively; maintains professional and effective working relationships with teammates; medical offices and physicians.
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure quality and timely patient care.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION High School diploma required EXPERIENCE 1-2 years' experience in health care; receptionist, scheduling or unit clerk preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY Cooperation-willingness to assist others accomplishes their objectives Reliability, dependability, and trustworthiness Ability to disposition-management of unavoidable tension/pressure, maintains professional composure Accountability-strives for excellence/quality Demonstrates ability to perform work in an accurate and timely manner Ability to communicate with a positive and caring attitude.
