Caregiver/Companion Duties:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary - Administer medication reminders - Assist with light housekeeping and laundry - Accompany clients to appointments or social outings - Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior - Practice resident rights and ensure client's privacy and dignity are respected - Implement behavior management techniques as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or senior care preferred - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality - Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities - Ability to take vital signs and monitor health conditions Skills:
