We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable and experienced medical receptionist to join our Orchard Park Team.
This position will require occasional coverage at the Derby and Hamburg locations.

Responsibilities:
Greeting patients immediately upon arrival and verifying their name and DOB in the EMR (Medent) Updating the patient's demographic information, pharmacy, and insurance information in the EMR, Medent.
Explaining all signage of the consents and Hipaa privacy and emergency contact information.
Collecting copays.
Answering patient questions and sending messages within the patient's chart to the correct point of contact.
Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments.
Reviewing, labeling, and scanning various documents.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized environment.
Completing other assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements:
1-2 years working with an EMR system, Medent preferred.
1-2 years working as a receptionist in the medical field.
Familiar with medical terminology and handling of medical documents.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Effective in multi-tasking and time management skills Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
