00 - $24.
00 DOE RESPONSIBILITY:
Performs inventory management in McGard/LD McCauley.
Perform cycle counting procedures in McGard/McCauley and assists with Logistics and Traffic related processes as required.
JOB DUTIES:
Count materials, finished goods, and supplies in stock on a weekly, monthly, and as needed basis.
Report and correct discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
Respond to Production Control Inquiries.
Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for.
Investigate/find and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories.
Have a basic understanding of Domestic and International shipping procedures and documentation.
Process Bills of Lading, export documents, schedule carriers and forwarders.
Ensure timely arrival of all outbound carriers.
Track shipments, resolve carrier issues (damage, shortage, etc.
) and customs issues promptly.
Minimal local travel may be required.
EDUCATION / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Able to communicate effectively in English both written and orally.
Two (2) or more years' experience in part handling, Production Control, supply chain management or Inventory Management preferred.
Two (2) years' experience in Logistics and Traffic, Shipping & Receiving dock procedures preferred.
Must possess a valid Driver's License ABOUT MCGARD:
